Turns three years old! While three years might not sound all that exciting for most, I’m ecstatic. When I formed ITworks in 2009, I’ve never been more nervous and excited all at once in my life–except for my wedding day… which was 3 weeks prior. My wife has been so incredibly supportive, motivating, and understanding that it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and long hours to grow a company. In fact, my entire family has been incredible and continue to help in any way that they can. Of course ITworks couldn’t continue to exist if it were for all of the great clients we’ve earned and colleagues we’ve met along the way. I formed ITworks three years ago with the idea of offering affordable, proactive support to the SMB market in Northeast Ohio. Since then the company has grown into much more, as a Value Added Reseller (VAR), Managed Services Provider (MSP), and Cloud Services Provider (CSP) to companies all over Ohio, and even out of state. A lot of great things have happened in the last three years; I’ve added a 24/7 staffed help desk, I have a local team of engineers and consultants to help with our various projects, and I began offering website design services for companies that need an Internet presence. I’m excited to see where this next year takes ITworks. So to everyone out there rooting for me, I’m making sure I don’t let you down. Thank you, Steven Taylor, President, ITworks

Invites You to Our Next Free Lunchinar: “When Should You Upgrade Your IT?” Traditional wisdom suggests “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it.” But it’s not quite that black-and-white when it comes to your IT. Are you compromising productivity, efficiency and security, for example, by continuing to run an operating system that’s over 10 years old? When do the benefits outweigh the costs of upgrading your hardware and software to the latest versions? And how do you know when the time is right? Get the answer to these compelling questions and more from Simplex-IT’s own Bob Coppedge at our next free Lunchinar. In his typical entertaining style, Bob will discuss how you can objectively determine if you’re ready to upgrade. Simplex-IT’s monthly Lunchinars are always free, open to all and focused on sharing information. Join us! Where: Hattie’s Café, 164 N. Main Street, Hudson. When: Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 11:30am-1:00pmAs a bonus, we will be awarding door prizes of Windows 7 and Office 2010 to two lucky attendees.
