The Gardens of Western Reserve Assisted Living Residence
In Cuyahoga  Falls, will be hosting their Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23rd, 2:00-3:00. Summa Western Reserve Hospital
Offers Free Joint Surgery Information Sessions. Summa Western Reserve Hospital has expanded its patient satisfaction and education initiatives to include free pre-operative informational sessions for patients who will be having hip and knee replacement surgery at the Cuyahoga Falls location. The “Joint Academy” class sessions are also open to those who may be interested in learning more about the elective procedures. Sessions will be offered the first and third Tuesday of every month with next month’s session to be offered March 5th and 19th at 5 p.m. Sessions are held at Summa Western Reserve Hospital, 1900 23rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223 in Conference Room 1. Session visits generally last 60 – 90 minutes. Registration is required. Guests must RSVP with the number of attendees by Friday at 11 a.m. the week prior to each session. During each information session, guests will receive dinner and review what to expect before, during and after their elective hip or knee surgery to better streamline the arrival, surgical process and healing timeline. Discharge instructions as well as home-going medications and the transition process from home to rehabilitation to recovery will be reviewed. A physical therapist and occupational therapist will also discuss post-operative exercises and rehabilitation information for recovery. Care givers are encouraged to attend. Registered guests will receive an information guide and free travel bag. The Chamber will email out the announcements once a month.  As a member you may also send out an eblast by accessing the membership database by logging onto the Chamber website.


  • When will the email go out?

The email will be sent out the first week of the month.


  • What can I submit for Chamber Member Business Announcements?

The announcement information that you submit to the Chamber will only be accepted via email only and must be strictly related to your Chamber Member business in which you are a paid Member of the Chamber of Commerce.  The “Business News Announcements” must be related to: a new service your business is offering, a special “Members Only” discount and offer, office furniture for sale, hiring a new employee for your business, new business ribbon cutting, business anniversary invitation, business open house announcement, new business address, office space for rent, celebrating a business anniversary, etc.


  • How much space can I have for a Chamber Member Business Announcement?

300 words or fewer of text only and one listing per Chamber Member business per month. The Chamber reserves the right to edit all submissions and use fewer or more words submitted.


  • What is the deadline to submit information?

The deadline to submit a Chamber Member Business Announcement is the 25th of the month by 12 noon and it will run in the next month’s email. Anything submitted after that date will run in the following month’s e-blast.  You may also send an email with your announcement/news to the Chamber Membership by accessing the email database by logging in to the Chamber website with your user name/password.  Please email the Chamber if you need help logging on.
