Hello from our Chamber Board President – Robert Lagasse

Hello Cuyahoga Falls Chamber Members –

I wanted to reach out to you as the Board President for the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce during these challenging times to remind everyone that we are not alone in this. As things are changing from day to day, it’s important that we continue taking care of ourselves and each other. As difficult as it is to socially distance ourselves from each other and close or reduce our businesses, it is a necessary precaution to stay healthy and stay safe. However, this doesn’t mean we can’t stay connected. Last week we started “Zoom meetings” as part of our weekly Goldmine Referral Groups. As well as weekly Zoom Chamber Check-Ins for our small businesses. Stay tuned for the upcoming Thirsty Tuesday Business After Hours Networking on April 7th  in partnership with fellow small business Chamber Member One T Entertainment and our April 28th Speaker Series with Ben Bisbee, Local Speaker who will present  “Mastering Virtual Management Under Pressure” via Zoom. These events are FREE to attend via Zoom and links to register are available on the Chamber website: www.cfchamber.com  This is a  great way for our businesses to be a part of normality in this “New World” that we are all living.

Also with some kind words, positive thoughts, and caring for each other to the best of our ability, we will be able to get thought this together. Like so many of you we are just trying to navigate through these new and challenging times. Please check out the emails and our business Facebook page that Laura Petrella our Chamber CEO has been sending /posting to help keep you and your business informed. https://www.facebook.com/cuyahogafallschamber/ They are packed with some great information for us to utilize as a small business owners and leaders. Please know she is always available by phone, text, email or Zoom.

I am honored to be part of such a supportive Cuyahoga Falls community. It is comforting to know that people of all different backgrounds and beliefs come together in solidarity during times like this. The fact that we are all human and facing these unprecedented times together is what really matters. We have an incredible sense of community and are stronger together. This caring and compassionate spirit will help us get through this together, and we will prevail!

Please stay safe and healthy!

Sincerely,

Robert Lagasse
