Hamilton Appraisal teams up with Toy’s for Tots
Each year, The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation relies on the generous donations of the public to deliver gifts to children. Hamilton Appraisal Services, Inc. at 1660 20th Street, Cuyahoga Falls 44223 has been added to the list of area drop locations to collect toys for area children in need. Because every kid deserves a little Christmas, every year the collection sites have become more and more important and a familiar element of the Christmas holiday. To many people, Christmas is not complete without marines, in dress blues, collecting and distributing toys to the less fortunate children of their communities. Rebecca Davey-Vivalo, Office manager of Hamilton Appraisal Services, Inc. said “We decided to be one of the host businesses for Toys for Tots this year because we recently moved to our new location and want to aid in the effort any way we can by adding our new location 1660 20th St, Cuyahoga Falls to the list of toy drop off locations.” The Toys for Tots Foundation 2013 campaign is looking for new, unwrapped toys to fit any age range up to teenagers or cash donations and prefers not to have donations of realistic looking weapons and gifts with food. If donated, such items will not be distributed. 5 Facts about Massage Therapy.
1) Do you know the definition of massage therapy? Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, for the purpose of normalizing those tissues, and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and or causing movement of or to the body.
2) Did you know? In order to become a licensed massage therapist a student must complete a minimum of 750 clock hours of schooling at an approved school. Studies in the course of Anatomy, Physiology (How the body functions), Ethics, Clinical programs, and Hygiene, and other such subjects the Board deems necessary and appropriate to massage. In addition to this ALL students are subject to criminal background checks by the FBI and BCI.
3) Did you know that in Ohio any person by law is able to perform a massage and receive payment even if they don’t have training? The requirement for this is they can’t call themselves: Licensed, a Therapist, and or perform therapy.
4) Most people don’t know that there are different types of massage. In fact there are over 100 different styles! Here are a few: Swedish massage ( what you get at a spa), Deep tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, MyoFascial Release, Hot stone, PreNatal, and Shiatsu. Just to name a few.
5) Did you know that you can use your HSA or FSA accounts to pay for massage? All you need is a Doctors referal or prescription. This also gets you out of paying sales tax.

Chamber Scholarship Fundraiser/ Promotion – Dine to Donate – Donatos Pizza/Cuyahoga Falls. Donatos Pizza in Cuyahoga Falls is doing a Dine to Donate promotion for the Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce Area Foundation for the scholarship fund.
This will take place on the first Thursday of each month from 11am to 5pm. Dine in or take out only. Donatos then will give back a percent of the sales to the scholarship fund each month.

The “Business News Announcements” must be related to: a new service your business is offering, a special “Members Only” discount and offer, office furniture for sale, hiring a new employee for your business, new business ribbon cutting, business anniversary invitation, business open house announcement, new business address, office space for rent, celebrating a business anniversary, etc.
- How much space can I have for a Chamber Member Business Announcement?
300 words or fewer of text only and one listing per Chamber Member business per month. The Chamber reserves the right to edit all submissions and use fewer or more words submitted.
- What is the deadline to submit information?
The deadline to submit a Chamber Member Business Announcement is the 25th of the month by 12 noon and it will run in the next month’s email. Anything submitted after that date will run in the following month’s e-blast. You may also send an email with your announcement/news to the Chamber Membership by accessing the email database by logging in to the Chamber website with your user name/password. Please email the Chamber if you need help logging on.
