2019 Leadership Falls Class Participants Announced
Leadership Falls is a community leadership program of the
Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce founded in 2019 through a business and
community partnership with Western Reserve Hospital.
The leadership program is committed to enhancing and connecting emerging and existing leaders from businesses, nonprofits and government. This unique program will empower the participants with a comprehensive understanding of leadership, civic and service in the Cuyahoga Falls area.

commitment to being loyally local,” said Dr. Robert Kent, president and CEO,
Western Reserve Hospital. “Developing leaders among individuals who are deeply
invested in our community is a vital an effective manner to stimulate growth
and progress in Cuyahoga Falls. We all benefit from the activities and work
this group will do and I’m proud that Western Reserve Hospital was a founding
member of the initiative.”

The Leaderships Falls program’s goals are:
*to provide our developing leaders with enhanced leadership skills
*to establish a communication network among the existing and emerging leaders of the community; and
*to challenge these leaders to increase their involvement in business and community affairs.
The program focuses on leadership development with topic areas including
small business, city dynamics, social issues, economic development and the arts
and culture in Cuyahoga Falls.
The program will include three months of leadership training that
also includes civic and business days spent at City Hall, Akron Food Bank and a
few of our local businesses, who will share their business stories with participants.
To conclude the Leadership Falls program, a business reception will
be held at Craft Beer Bar in December, followed by a graduation luncheon in January
2020 at the Natatorium. The program is led by Ned Parks, Aegis 360 Consulting
a well-known business consultant, business coach and professional business speaker.
