Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park
JUNE DINNER IN THE VALLEY WELCOMES SUMMER WITH A SEASONAL MEAL. The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park continues its monthly Dinner in the Valley series at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 with a “Cool Summer Night” dinner featuring the best foods of early summer, including strawberries, and many other seasonal favorites. Each month, the Conservancy’s Dinner in the Valley event features Chef Larkin Rogers, who creates a delightful meal hosted at one of Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s unique venues. Reservations for the dinner package are required and are being taken through Thursday, June 6. Call 330-657-2909 ext. 119 for reservations. Pricing is $28 for Conservancy members,$30 for non-members, and $7 for children ages 5-12. Price includes dinner, dessert and beverages. Last week, SWRH collaborated with Richardson Elementary School and Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Robart to host the city’s Lemonade Day Northeast Ohio. The experiential learning initiative was aimed at teaching young students life skills and personal development by enabling them to start their own business – a lemonade stand. As part of the program, Richardson Elementary students review lessons to help them start and run their business. In entrepreneurial spirit, they will learn about various aspects of business ownership such as creating a budget, setting goals, problem solving, providing customer service, enlisting investors and giving back to their community. Students will present their business ideas to judges from Summa Western Reserve and members of the community to vie for loan funding to build their business

The announcement information that you submit to the Chamber will only be accepted via email only and must be strictly related to your Chamber Member business in which you are a paid Member of the Chamber of Commerce. The “Business News Announcements” must be related to: a new service your business is offering, a special “Members Only” discount and offer, office furniture for sale, hiring a new employee for your business, new business ribbon cutting, business anniversary invitation, business open house announcement, new business address, office space for rent, celebrating a business anniversary, etc.
How much space can I have for a Chamber Member Business Announcement?
300 words or fewer of text only and one listing per Chamber Member business per month. The Chamber reserves the right to edit all submissions and use fewer or more words submitted.
What is the deadline to submit information?
The deadline to submit a Chamber Member Business Announcement is the 25th of the month by 12 noon and it will run in the next month’s email. Anything submitted after that date will run in the following month’s e-blast. You may also send an email with your announcement/news to the Chamber Membership by accessing the email database by logging in to the Chamber website with your user name/password. Please email the Chamber if you need help logging on.
