15 Sep Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Supports 2016 School Levy
The Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors fully supports the Cuyahoga Falls Schools with the 9.97 mills renewal levy that will be on the ballot November 8, 2016. We urge our residents to vote!
We feel the importance of our schools and the children who attend them is a vital part of our community and without the passage of this levy, our students will face drastic reductions in their educational opportunities. Without question, this levy affects everyone. The children are our future business leaders and the school system has worked diligently to establish connections between the business community and the classrooms. Thus, we ask that you continue to support our efforts, in partnership with the school community, by voting for the renewal levy November 8, 2016.
- This RENEWAL levy generates over $7,300,000 annually and it expires December 31, 2016.
- This RENEWAL provides operating funds for educational programs and opportunities, utilities, repairs and maintenance, supplies, and capital expenditures.
- This RENEWAL levy is NOT a new tax and will NOT increase your taxes!
The Chamber of Commerce mission statement reads, “The Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce actively promotes a partnership of Business and Community succeeding together.” We believe that our school system, through its leadership, its students, and the dedicated staff members who work tirelessly to provide the very best for our children regularly strive to connect the classroom with the business community through authentic learning opportunities. We feel the importance of this renewal levy passing will help the district progress toward its vision, CFCSD: The hub of our community; committed to a culture of caring! We innovate. We create. We personalize education for all!
